After building the Tinton Falls center into a recognized founder-led outpatient program, Mike and Lauren Sorrentino brought the same model to Charlotte, closing a gap they kept hearing about from families and clients across the Carolinas who wanted clinical-grade addiction treatment delivered by people who had walked the path.
The Charlotte Archangel Centers center is a NC-licensed outpatient addiction treatment center serving adults across Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, and Union Counties. We offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and standard Outpatient (OP), with Detox Concierge handoffs that bridge medical detox into our outpatient continuum.
Most centers have one or the other. Mike's recovery story shapes how we treat people at the Charlotte center; our NC-licensed clinicians bring the evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, MAT when indicated, trauma-focused care) that produce real outcomes.
Roughly half of people in NC addiction treatment also live with a mental health condition. The Charlotte center treats both together as the standard of care, not as a separate add-on program.
Outpatient care keeps you connected to your real life: family, work, community across Mecklenburg County and the Charlotte metro. For most adults that produces better long-term recovery than disappearing into a facility for 30 days and returning to the same environment.
Every program at the Charlotte center is run by NC-licensed therapists and counselors who build an individualized plan around your history, not a one-size template, and treat addiction and co-occurring mental health together.
